Stars do take away the vital spaces of our lives and we don't even understand that! I never agreed with this but now I really do! People don't just admire stars but love them, respect them and indeed see God in them. And Reliance Communication was smart enough to manipulate this weakness of the star fans! Last month Reliance offered people tweeting with Bollywood stars and listen to their voice blogs from the mobile itself. And people were eagerly ready to spend money on this special service.
From blogging to micro blogging and now this voice blogging, all that has star presence is appreciated by people. The other day out of curiosity I went checking Hrithik Roshan's Twitter page, and found one of his interesting tweet to one of his fan, "good luck! Now stop tweeting and study!!" This tweet looked quite different from others in which Hrithik had thanked many of his fans for their best wishes or compliments. And I could not stop myself and clicked on the link to the fan's Twitter page (@Hrithikismylife) and started reading this tweeple's tweets to make out to which one Duggu might have replied.
Finally I came across an earnest request made to Duggu, "hi Sir..i have an exam tomorrow. I will b happy if u please wish me luck..please reply..will wait for ur reply…" I was really startled because of two reasons first this tweeple who seemed to be a student was not much worried about exam but about Hrithik's reply and second, because of Hrithik's sweetness that he replied back to his fan.
Honestly, stars and fans are really made for one another! Earlier stars used to connect to their fans via letters sent to the celluloid magazines but then the chances of response were really rare but with a medium like Twitter, it's as easy as breeze! And today the stars too love to come near their fans, this is why Reliance used star studded voice-based mobile blogging facility that let people listen to several many stars like John Abraham, Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra, and also singers like Sonu Nigam.
Twitter is a favorite of professionals and business people for their branding and promotion but can you suggest why it is a favorite of the students, non-professionals, and casual internet surfers? The obvious answer is Stars! Stars! Stars! And stars too love Twitter because they love to be admired by their fans.
Now this is an honest surrender, that I too am getting a bit addicted to Twitter and especially to the stars' pages on the site! Well, out of my curiosity, better if I say addiction, I went over to Shreya Ghoshal's Twitter page. Guess what did I see? She had retweeted many of her fan's compliments! And then I came across a birthday wish for a tweeple, I thought the tweeple might be Shreya's relative or friend. But nope! She was her fan and not even an Indian fan but from Bangladesh!
